So begins this book of daily meditations drawn from the teachings of Ramesh.
Ramesh is known and loved by seekers after Truth throughout the world as a bright, clear light in the spiritual darkness. His words resonate with the raw power of one who genuinely KNOWS of what he speaks and writes.
Ramesh teaches that all there is Consciousness. Like his guru, Nisargadatta Maharaj, before him, his sole purpose is to constantly remind us that the sense of separation we feel as individuals is but a thin veil, an illusion. What we truly are is nothing other than the Infinite...God...Christ...Tao...Consciousness.
This book is offered as a daily source of inspiration for those who find themselves on the path to fundamental understanding. It contains the most ancient wisdom set down in a new and insightful way by a true Master of the modern age.

These 365 jewels, one for each day of the year, are classic Ramesh--fresh, stimulating, profound, and just plain fun. I laughed out loud several times while reading the book. The path to enlightenment, of course, is not a path. It is a progressive letting go of ideas until nothing obscures the truth. The truth confronts us every moment, but we are attached to so many silly ideas. In this book, Ramesh shows us his realization. Of all the spiritual masters alive today no one is deeper than this. If someone has not already encountered Ramesh, he or she should read "Consciousness Speaks" or one of Ramesh's other books first. Many people are shocked when they first read his writings (What? It doesn't matter what I do? I can't do anything to get enlightened? My spiritual practice won't get me there?) After having these last spiritual props knocked out from under oneself, then there is nothing left to do but relax and enjoy the show. Those who reach this stage of understanding will know that the one who is writing this review, the one who is reading this review, and Ramesh himself are all One. This is the way We entertain Ourself. For those who haven't yet given up the tiresome burden of reflective thought, or those who still think that they are entities, this book will be a wake up call. Ramesh is saying, "This is a play, and we're so lucky that it's not the kind of play most of us imagine." Today Ramesh is 81 years old and lives in Bombay, India. Fortunately, we don't have to travel to Bombay to play with him. To slightly alter the last line of one of Ryokan's poems, "Look around. This is what IS!" Indeed..Product details

A Net of Jewels Daily Meditations for Seekers of Truth edition by Ramesh S Balsekar Ted Kingdon Gary Starbuck Politics Social Sciences eBooks Reviews
This the clearest, most direct pointing to the non-dual I have come upon. The daily readings slice right through long held, unquestioned concepts.
It is so wonderful to have this on !! Love it!
Wonderful book! Well arranged and has an incredible impact! Very well!
I find this a very inspiring book. For anyone interested in Advaita philosophy, it gives you something to ponder twice daily.
More concise wisdom in this little book than you could find anywhere. A couple of sentences each day for a year. I got the hardback and it is very well made.
This is a daily reader about how life works, the confusion humans have, and the ease with which life can actually be experienced.
It absolutely changed my life.
Ramesh Balsekar's "A Net of Jewels Daily Meditation for Seekers of Truth" is the best daily pointer to the Truth i have encountered in 40 years of practice. The message is particularly useful as it looks at some of the most complex topics, including causation, reincarnation, inquiry, practice, and non-duality in new and perceptive ways that often bring an "aaahhhh" at seeing the same thing in a completely different and insightful way. As Nisargadatta's translator and arguably best-known student, Ramesh was there at his side for years, reformulating answers to many quandries expressed by questioners. This is an incredibly valuable guide which i strongly recommend to my students.
